Good Bye, Dear Friend

It is with a heavy heart that I must report on the passing of our dear friend, OgoPogo.

In what can only be described as very strange, and tragic incident, OgoPogo met it's end somewhere around the 5th of November. At that time, I was meeting with the British Contingent in London, we were thinking happy thoughts of their past days in Stöckli, and sending messages of happy greetings to the Autumn volunteers. Including a directive to take good care of OgoPogo. Little did we know that OgoPogo had already been shoved into the fireplace in the Music Room. I do not know the circumstances and I would rather not speculate at this point. We can assume foul play was involved though.

Let's all take this time to remember OgoPogo as it was though. A bright, yellow, boxy type who liked to lope around the Music Room when it wasn't spending holidays in my fridge in the kitchen. It was fond of producing messages from it's rear end and eating BlowPops. Sometimes it even was cheeky enough to smack unlucky passers-by about the head and neck.

OgoPogo, you will be missed dearly. Perhaps you shall be reborn once girl-scout cookie season starts again.

Friends, in lieu of flowers, please send monetary donations to the OgoPogo Fund in care of Me. All funds will be used to purchase boxes of Chalet Creams in hopes of one day reconstructing a second OgoPogo.

Also, if you have photos or memories you'd like to share, please send them to my gmail account.

Thankyou for your kind obituary. You did dear Ogo-Pogo justice, it quite brought a tear to my eye.
