I asked the volunteers why they wern't doing anything useful, like working, or cleaning. The volunteers said "Everyone is in senior-senior staff meeting, why don't you come help us find the fire escape in Spycher". I said "No thank you. By the way, there's a rope ladder in the attic".

im shocked. wheres their use of initiative. there was shit loads of stuff to do when we were there but didnt get time! they need to open their eyes more! clean! there is always cleaning to do! dust! sweep! organise the swops! ahh
Our eyes are open. We see all the rooms we have cleaned, all the laundry folded and put away or still in the washer, and all the things on our to-do list checked off. So we take a little time to work on our staff challenge while waiting on the washer to finish. I think that's harmless enough.
